Great History of Farmington
If you're going anywhere near Farmington, you'll want to get this book. Knowing about its history will make your visit more meaningful. Ms. Pawlak is a good writer, making the past come alive, whether she's telling legends of the Potawatomi Indians who settled the area in the 1400's, or stories of the WWII veterans whose return brought enormous growth and a suburban...

Information too brief and jumpy
Bought this book wanting to learn more about the city in which I live, and I did. But the book was not well written. The topics were so briefly touched upon and jumped around. It needed something to bring it all together. Found myself flipping back through what I'd already read to try to figure out how things fit together.
