The book is enriched by black-and-white photographs and authenticated by the inclusion of a notes section providing additional information on incidents mentioned in the text. This is a fantastic biography of Cesar Chavez, written for young readers. You don't get this kind of progressive history telling in traditional textbooks. This is a perfect supplement for your history class, for home school, or for your child's research project.
