Santa's lap,
By Elaine Cory (Lexington, NC United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I Farted on Santa's Lap (Now Christmas is Gonna Stink for Me) (Audio CD)
I heard this song on the way to work onthe radio show Bob and Sheri. I found myself laughing out loud. After work I ordered it immediately. One of the child singers has cystic fibrosis and some of the proceeds from the recording will be donated to that cause. So buy the song, do something good for someone else and have a good belly laugh yourself all in the spirit of Christmas.

I heard this song on HI 99 Radio station in Terre Haute Indiana. My kids and I thought it was hillarious. Thank you so very much for the huge laughter I heard from my kids. We all needed that this Christmas. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This review is from: I Farted on Santa's Lap (Now Christmas is Gonna Stink for Me) (Audio CD)
When I heard this song it made me laugh so hard. I had to hear it over and over. It is not just for christmas it is a great song for those of us who like bathroom humor. We all do it and might as well laugh at someone who was smart enough to write a song. The girl singing the song is precious. This song is a real hoot!

Laughter and a Warm Knee,
By
This review is from: I Farted on Santa's Lap (Now Christmas is Gonna Stink for Me) (Audio CD)
I must sadly disagree with R. McLaughlin's "As if children need to learn more disrespect" review. Surely we must live life realistically and show love and respect toward our fellow man, but we also must do so being mindful of the fact that we all let one slip out now and then. While respect and honor are due Santa, and gratitude should be given for all that he goes through every 24th of December, I believe it to be healthy to consider that even he must flatulate. Placing Santa on such a pedestal that a child would be traumatized for life to hear Santa rip one is so much more damaging than making light of a bit of gas. R. McLaughlin is right, guns are prevalent in schools and we live in scary times, but I don't think humanity is so far gone that we must be concerned that poking a little fun at a natural bodily function will be the imminent downfall of any impressionable child. Getting back to reality, the actual content of the song referred to one who had so much respect as to try not to fart on Santa's lap, but did so accidentally, not intentionally.
A good sense of humor is an honorable trait, laughter is good for the soul, and it would do all of us some good to not take the lighter side of life so seriously. Further more, I think Santa's big round belly would shake when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly if a bean-fed child did warm his knee ... so to speak.

Those little stinkers!,

This is too cute! I laughed my tail off. The Beltrami family did an awesome job. This is my first time hearing it this morning. My local radio station debuted it this morning. This is a must have if you like funny songs. The chorus goes: "I farted on Santa's lap, now Christmas is gonna stink for me. I farted on Santa's lap and now I'll get (fart) under my Christmas tree." Too funny. Go get it!

I'm STILL Laughing!,

I listened to this on a Jacksonville, FL station this morning while driving my daughter to school. We laughed so hard, we forgot the crummy weather and had a great drive on an otherwise bleak morning. This is a must-have, destined to be a classic Christmas party tune! Part of the profit goes to charity...you can't mess up with this one.

Heard this song for the first time. Thought it was really cute. If you don't have a sense of humor(that's too bad) you won't like it.

A Christmas Hoot!,

This review is from: I Farted on Santa's Lap (Now Christmas is Gonna Stink for Me) (Audio CD)
I must also respectfully disagree with R. McLaughlin's review, and point out that his/her fear of a Christmas song about kids pulling guns on Santa already came true in the 70's with The Kinks song "Father Christmas". I was listening to one of my local college radio stations when this song came on. I nearly had to hide under my desk I was laughing so hard.
