This is a high quality hardcover book. It comes with detailed illustrations and fun pictures. The sound effects are what make it memorable. It is hilarious. There are different fart sounds for the different countries (10 total) and they complement the illustration perfectly. It is a fun edition that is good for a gag gift or just coffee material. Here is a youtube demo of the book: [...]

This magnificent piece of literature is one that should be past on from generation to generation. I have also personally enjoyed the smell of my own farts. The sound of a fart is equal to that of a masterful musical composition. It is one of purity and joy. A fart brings smiles to a child's face and a grin to an elder.

I am so glad there are people brave enough to write about the art of farting. I have started a special group of people called "Fartists"; they are unique and diverse. They take flatulence very serious and carry the honor of spreading "Fart Pride!" This book has been such an inspiration to Fartists, such as myself, that I have decided to write an Opera, a three part trilogy about a man who discovers his love and passion for farting and his quest to create the world's loudest and smelliest fart. In the first part of the trilogy, the man loses the love of his life and is saddened by this terrible event in his life. One day, while sitting alone in his apartment he has a terrible case of gas. He starts to notice the wonderful and calming aroma and sounds that embrace and allow him to release this horrible sadness. In the second part of the trilogy, he begins his quest working with both science and nature, attempting to create his dream of a magical, mystical, glorious fart. It is a journey that creates obstacles with his friends and family, they feel he is emotionally and mentally disturbed and force him into an institution. The doctors discover he is perfectly fine and simply a man, on a mission. One of the musical pieces, titled, "My Farts Are All That I Have" tells his story so poetically that there will be not a dry eye in the house!

I bought this for my step-dad and he just LOVES it. He's a big kid at heart so this makes him laugh every time. His favorite is the Jamaican fart which, I think, is the best one too hahaha! It's been almost a year since I've bought this book and the batteries have held up pretty well. The farts are still going on strong! Hahahaha!!

I gave this to my nephew for his birthday and he thought it was very funny. Each "fart" is unique and it provided for hours of entertainment with the little stories attached to each country and fart.

I originally bought this as a gift for my adult nephew - I don't know if he or all the kids loved it more. This is a book that has a page a two for each country with an associated fart. The reading sections are funny and engaging for kids and adults. The kids all know the farts by country, so for them it is about as off color as they get. The great part is, all the kids wanted to be part of the reading. The older kids would read a page and let the younger kids push the button for each country. Great book.

This was a gift. "Sure" you say, well, it was a gift. Nothing funnier than a fart, and this oh so informative book has a whole collection based on country of origin! Ben Franklin demonstrated his humor and smarts when he wrote "Fart Proudly". Well this isn't Ben's work, but it has recorded sound effects that perform on request. Very funny....for the right recipient who like Ben honors the sounds of nature..
