5.0 out of 5 stars Breaking bread from house to house., September 4, 2011
This review is from: Fascinated by Languages (Hardcover)
Bible translator Rev Eugene Nida taught many native students of the Bible around the world to translate scripture into their own language. He developed a pedagogic system to do this, which is also detailed in a bio by Philip Stine, as well as in this autobiography. Nida's obituary appears in the NYTimes on September 4, 2011. Based on Nida's accomplishments alone, I've given the book a five, simply to be able to share this link to his obituary which tells his life story as a thumbnail account. These books should be made available for Kindle. Please.
