This revolving globe has the potential to be an interesting night light as well as a daytime globe. There are two weaknesses to this product however. The first is that it is motorized and the motor makes noise. The noise impairs its usefulness as a night light. The second is that the city lights are always on so when the room is not brightly lit the city lights can be seen, even during the day.

Okay globe but light burns out and not user replaceable,

Title says it all. Light bulb (or led) burnt out after 6 months. No way to replace the bulb unfortunately. Given this I can't really recommend it.
