Product Description

This predatory arachnid has eight legs and is easily recognized by a pair of grasping claws and a narrow segmented tail that is often carried in a characteristic forward curve over its back, ending with a venomous stinger. Scorpions can grow as large as 20 cm. Their venom has a fearsome reputation but only about 25 out of almost 1500 species are known to have venom capable of killing a human.

amazing creation. Already bought most of the other ones. Already built the dragonfly and it is INSANE.
You build them, they are time consuming, but that is what i like. A meditative construction. The outcome
is crazy. They are beautiful.

The model came on time and I really enjoyed building it. The pieces were a bit hard to get out of the metal sheet, but they were quite durable and I was able to build the model without breaking anything. Some of the finer pieces were even able to take a little abuse and rebending of the tabs without it breaking! Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The model looked quite nice when completed. Overall, I was pleased with the product and would buy more models from Metal Earth.

This is one of the few MetalEarth models I have had to set aside and come back to. The claws are pretty wonky and you have to bend them in a way that I found unintuitive. Once I got it together, it looks great.

These are the best 3D models! They require small tweezers and pliers to complete, so you need patience. But they are so badass as a finished product!

Great item, as ever with these they cannot be bent too many times as the metal is very thin, but my son enjoyed putting this together and he has it displayed with his collection of metal art now

just a tip for my fellow metal models. If bending the tabs seems too hard try using a drop of krazy glue on the connection works extremely well. In particular the claws and legs on this model.

I was never able to complete this model. It took me forever to remove the initial pieces from the metal sheet. Once I started building it, I quickly realized that it doesn't go together that easily. You either need to be pretty good at dealing with very small parts, or you have to have a ton of patience. After a couple of hours I managed to get one pincer together. Attaching the pincer to the main body didn't go so well. I ended up breaking one of the little ears off of the pincer arm, thereby ruining the sculpture. I was using my wife's jewelry tools which are very precise, and I think even these were still too big. When looking at the model on their website (where they show close ups of all of the assembled models) It appears that even this one has a pincer arm that's not attached to the body.
