This lanyard didn't cost much so it shouldn't be a surprise that the magnets came out of their holders a week after I started wearing it. I never even used the magnets, I just slipped it over my head. Two weeks after the magnets came out the whole thing broke while I was sitting at my desk. I never pulled on it or abused it. I can't imagine someone actually calling this product sturdy. It was cheaply made and a piece of junk.

Well, I rated this Lanyard one star only because I had to chose something. I was actually very excited when I got this thing in the mail. However, the string break and everything FALLS APART after two weeks. I took very good care of this thing, and it was not abused in any way. I exam the string after this thing falls apart, and I found there the part where it breaks is very rusted. In addition, there are many other places of the string that are also rusted. This thing falls apart when I was attending a business conference. When I walked into the room, I got all kinds of compliments on my ID holder, so I was recommending this thing to the people I met. However, it falls apart in the middle of the meeting. I was publically humiliated, and it was surely not a pretty experience. I never bother to write an review for any product I brought on Amazon, but I feel I have to for this piece of JUNK.

I work in a correctional institution where my ID badge is as important as the air I breath. Three weeks into wearing my "fashionable" lanyard, it broke into a million pieces. In the future, I'll choose durability over price!

I really hate wearing ID badges but they're required everywhere now. This beaded lanyard makes it more pleasant to wear the badge. I love the breakaway magnets for when the lanyard gets snagged on something. Over all, I'm really pleased with this purchase.

I really liked my lanyard and its attractive design made it a little more bearable to start the workday, but three weeks into wearing it the wire broke and it exploded into a million beads. You get what you pay for...

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for a friend, and both of them suffered catastrophic failure within a month of normal, gentle wear. Mine fell apart as I was walking, spewing beads over the sidewalk. They're beautiful, but they're not the least bit sturdy. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

I purchased this lanyard for my weekend work as a social worker at a psychiatric hospital. I needed something breakaway that was cute too. I didn't like that the beading on this lanyard is not symmetrical but it's still cute and I figure I'm probably the only one OCD enough to be bothered by the pattern. After maybe 2 weekends so 40 hours of use, as I was sitting at the nurses station charting, the string or wire just broke and beads went EVERYWHERE and I didn't even move, it just broke. Granted, my badge and keys were hanging from it and it could have been too heavy but.... isn't that what lanyards are for? Hanging things from? Also the beads did pinch a little on the back of my neck. I do not recommend this product.

I have received many compliments on my lanyard as I wear it in the office. I have even had a few ask where I got it. It is just as it was described and I am very happy with it (I even went back and bought a couple of others and gave them as gifts).

I bought a beautiful brown jeweled lanyard and it broke and fell completely apart after 2 months... 2 MONTHS! what a piece of junk! I want a full refund and I will NEVER purchase any product from Fashion ID ever again. What a waste of time and money!!!
