This review is from: Fashion in Costume 1200-1980 (Paperback)
It gives you a good idea of how people dressed, in different countries (i.e spanish and french fashion was very different in late XVIII) Drawings in black and white, mostly taken from paintings. Good and brief explanation of most important aspects of fashion.I think the clothes chosen are very representaive (i.e Chanel vs. Schiaparelli styles in the 20's)
