the fashion cycle
its a good read, well written and revealing. It is good to know what is behind the New York creation of mulit millionaires in fashion.

Not a page turner
This is a bit of a self-indulgent exercise for this author. It is good as a time capsule of the way things were. Don't expect to breeze through this -- the writing is clunky and the chronological organization is maddening.
