5.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent book by Jim!!, October 11, 2000

This review is from: Fashion Doll Makeovers III (Paperback)
Since I have Jim's previous 'Makeover Books', and got so much from them (both ideas for creating, and tips on 'how-to'), I had to get this one! The doll artists are so creative, and the book is filled with great pictures of how others see Barbie. To me, a REAL bonus was the section on how to create different hair-dos. As with Jim's other books, there are detailed explanations and PHOTOS (no diagrams, thank heaven) which take you step by step thru the process. EXCELLENT!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent book in the Fashion Doll makeover series!, November 5, 1999

This review is from: Fashion Doll Makeovers III (Paperback)
All three of Jim Faraone's books have inspired hundreds of doll artists, and have become indispensible to good makeover artists. This third book features new doll artists and has an outstanding how-to-do- it section on hairstyling! I have all three books and love them!

Great if you need inspiration but it's short on how tos. Some of the artists featured here have created true masterpieces. I just wish there was more on how to create your own.
