This is not a bad T-Shirt reconstruction book, it just isn't very good. There are plenty of photos, which is nice, and the direction seem to be well written...but that is all it has going for it. The projects are not interesting or innovative and they all seem rather dated. Like late 1980's early 1990's dated. All of the projects scream "homemade" and while I'm all for "homemade" items, these were too blah. No project has a zing to it, or looks to be "fashionable". That being said, if you were sewing for kids under 9, they would look cute in some of these styles. Also, if you were a (younger?) beginning sewer, these might make for some interesting projects. ALl in all, it is a 2.5 star really. Get from your local library instead.

This was a "just ok" book. I looked at it and then sold it. It was not what I was expecting.

Has good ideas about converting a plain t-shirt into a fun and stylish new shirt.
