5.0 out of 5 stars Get into the Groove with Fashion TV! It's so THIS Season!
This CD screams FASHION! It makes you feel like you're in the front row beside the catwalk. It makes me feel BEAUTIFUL. The mix of Moby's Bodyrock throbs-- really makes you groove. And, Tosca's Orozco knows how to keep the beat. All the tracks are easy on the ears. This is just a great collection of smooth, dancey and glamorous tunes. Sit back and enjoy a cocktail with...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fashion TV: Mumbo Jumbo
TAKE NOTE BUYERS!!! I've ordered Fashion TV: Spring-Summer 2001 Collection and Fashion TV Blisterpack..., and they both have the same track lists. It is sad though. It's as if I were ordering 2 CDs with the same track lists. I suggest people, buying FTV Spring-Summer 2001 Collection and the Blisterpack at the same time, don't have the same kind of trouble that I've...

4.0 out of 5 stars Model Music, April 10, 2001
By
This is the album that corresponds with the popular European television station of the same name. The collection features the same moody, slow dance music as heard at the various runway shows on the station. Standout tracks are the Smiths-esque "Cry Me A River" (same as the original but three times as long) by Illumination, "Coracao Tambor" by Ian Pooley with Rosanna and Zelia, and the gorgeous "Release Me Pt. il" by Smith & Mighty. The album also has a rather cute remix of Moby's "Bodyrock" and some other nice tracks. If you want runway music or if you are looking for something new and/or unique in the dance genre, this is a very worthwhile buy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Mediocre, August 31, 2001

Although this album contains some songs one might recognize, overall it is mediocre at best. None of the tracks stand out, and most of them foray into the cheesy category. Recycled beats and uncreativy permeates this lackluster effort.

3.0 out of 5 stars good but not enough!, August 20, 2001
I was expecting much more from a Fashion tv collectio.Simply the music we usually listen playing on the channel. I think that they should spend more time to choose those songs that it is really hard to find. Anyway you cant say it is a waste to buy the collection but you can live without it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally some good wake up music!, November 1, 2004
This review is from: Fashion TV: Spring-Summer 2001 Collection (Audio CD)
Can't believe I stumbled into this wonderful wonder called "fashion tv" sound tunes, which I've never heard of living in Canada. What can be said of the great 14 tracks on this CD except for a delight each time you turn on your stereo when friends come over, or just to listen to it in the morning as it's AWESOME MORNING material to wake u up and get you doing the walk the models do on the runway! To see "Made in France" at the back of the CD is refreshing as Made in US stuff is sooo overdone and mainstream.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This CD will take you to the runways of Milan and Paris. Track 2-5 are the strongest. Great CD to work out to. Looking forward the sequel this year FTV 2002. Not widely available in the US. Be the first to own it.

5.0 out of 5 stars MTMLT, July 22, 2001

It's hard for me to find a disc I can just throw in and leave on when I have somebody over. There is nothing worse than having to stop to change the music, its like answering the phone! But of course, the french, with their savoir faire would never put someting like that out. I would recommend this to anyone tired of Britney and Nelly.
