Because it can dramatically improve high speed implementations, Fast Ethernet is the fastest growing networking technology in IT history. Written by people who build high speed networks, this book is an authoritative, comprehensive guide to Fast Ethernet technology. Drawing from their own experiences, the authors provide real world answers for network managers and detail how fast ethernet works as well as obstacles that will slow it down. The book covers installation scenarios and solutions, common problems and FAQs, network expansion advice, and networking with Windows NT and Windows 95. Fast Ethernet provides a means of giving local area networks the speed and bandwidth needed to run messaging, multimedia and Internet-based applications.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great technical information but many errors, February 10, 1998
This review is from: Fast Ethernet (Paperback)
Outstanding technical information. Pretty much anything you've ever needed to know about fast-ethernet can be found here, and it's all explained in a very consise manner. I would give this book a 9, but there are MANY spelling errors, that can lead to confusion.
