Fast Feng Shui for Singles draws on my personal experience as a feng shui consultant and as a “singleton” looking for romance. I learned the hard way that feng shui techniques didn’t wouldn’t work so well if I wasn’t emotionally ready for what I thought I wanted. About the Author

Stephanie Roberts is a graduate of the professional feng shui training program at the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design in Long Island, NY, and has studied with the Geomancy Feng Shui Education Organization (GEO) as well as with many other leading teachers of both classical Chinese and contemporary Western feng shui. As an undergraduate, she studied Asian art history at Harvard University, where she earned her degree magna cum laude.

Stephanie has been a guest panelist on the National Feng Shui Teleconference Series, analyzed the feng shui of the New York Stock Exchange for TheStreet.com, and has been interviewed about feng shui by WPIX-TV in New York City and by the Associated Press. She is the author of Fast Feng Shui: 9 Simple Principles for Transforming Your Life by Energizing Your Home, and Fast Feng Shui for Prosperity: Keys to Living in Abundance (Fall, 2002)

Prior to becoming a feng shui consultant, Stephanie developed training programs for America's leading corporations. I've been into Feng Shui for quite a while now and so have read several books about it and I can say that Stephanie's book is defintely one of the easiest to follow, most original and most charming ones that have ever come my way. The greatest thing about it is that it doesn't only talk about the "usual" FS stuff, like symbols or gadgets that'll enhance chi in certain guas, but it also works as a kind of a psychological guide: it takes you trough the different phases of a relationship and gives you ideas on how you can make your inner self more -so to say- productive - as well as your home. Stephanie's writing style is truly charming - you feel as if she was sitting there with you. An absolute must-have on everyone's shelf looking for a new romance - whether or not into FS.

I credit feng shui with my having found the right relationship, so I wasn't looking for one. But I picked up this book because it goes a lot further than the other feng shui books I'd read. It goes beyond the generic feng shui remedies for finding or improving love and romance. A divorcee, a married woman trying to save her marriage, and a single looking for the right man all have relationship issues, but they all have different needs. So they all require different approaches. The key is to know where you are in the relationship cycle and, taking cue from the cycle of the five elements, tailor your feng shui cures accordingly. It's all much simpler than it sounds really. I'm buying this book as a gift for a few of my friends who I know will benefit greatly. Excellent, substantial book.

Another unique book on contemporary feng shui from acclaimed author Stephanie Roberts. Many books have been written on feng shui, most of them allotting a small section on how to find and improve romantic relationships. Ms. Roberts has chosen to devote this entire beautiful book on the subject. The central concept of this book is the Five Phases of a Romantic Relationship based on the creative cycle of the five elements. A stroke of creative inspiration! This is a truly holistic and comprehensive approach to creating proper inner and outer environment for attracting (and maintaining) meaningful, authentic relationships. Highly recommended!
