Neil Ducoff, author of No-Compromise Leadership (DC Press/January 2009), is CEO of Strategies, a Connecticut-based training and coaching company that teaches leaders and organizations all over the world how to live the no-compromise mantra. During his 39 years as a coach, speaker and author, he has gained respect as one of the "good guys" in business. If you are a seasoned salon or spa owner or new to business, this is your complete serious success manual.
This little book coveres every aspect of business related to the salon spa industry, all your questions are answered in a precise and easy to understand manner. Owning a copy of Fast Forward is like having a PDR (Physician's Desk Reference) for your salon. If you need any answer, it's in there. This is a great reference book for anyone in the salon or spa industry. It's just chock full of useful information. Just the other day I needed wording for a help wanted ad. I picked up my copy of Fast Forward and bingo - there it was. I highly recommend this book.

For those in the beauty industry and for others looking to make the salon and spa field a career, there is no better guide than Neil Ducoff's book. In a business where most Salon and Spa education focuses on technical skills, sadly disappointing those in search of practical and relevant business information, you will be pleasantly surprised. Whether its leadership, finance, employee issues, marketing or system building, you will find the help that leads you thru all the avenues. Neil's experience, wisdom and bits of humor run throughout this book. Well written, readable and in a "reference format", you'll find yourself turning thru its pages often. Five years later it still holds a prominent space on my desk. Highly recommended!
