4.0 out of 5 stars Can be understood by an undergraduate physics major., January 14, 1999

This review is from: Fast Fourier Transforms: Second Edition (Studies in Advanced Mathematics) (Hardcover)
This is a book written for mathematicians, yet it is accessible to an upper level physics undergraduate. Much of the book explains concepts very well, at other times I was very frustrated. The DOS based software included with the book did not seem to work as billed on my systems. A high point of the book is Walkers 2 dimensional Fourier optics section. This section does an excellent job on a complex topic.
