This soundtrack could have been better!,
By Troy "arkane0690" (Cincinnati, Ohio USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift (Audio CD)
I think the soundtrack is ok, there is only a few of the best song's from the movie on the cd, and for those that wanted to know the unknown's I had to find them myself and here are some of them:
One playing when sean and han walk into the chick filled club where han makes out with a few and has lyrics that go, "Hey mommy you sexy" is called Fannypack - Hey Mami. The one playing in the beginning when sean get's owned by dk for the first time the fast-paced techno song is called, "Atari Teenage Riot - Speed" The one playing when they first enter the garage is, "Grits - My Life Be Like" There was one playing while the chick is drifting (sean was in the car too) still looking for that one I'll post when I find it. Nonetheless the movie itself was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I give it 2 thumb's WAY up..

Perfect Soundtrack for the Movie,
By Grunt Hog (Vancouver, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift (Audio CD)
This is one of the most perfect soundtracks to ever accompany a movie. The film itself is unabashedly stupid, formulaic, and predictable --- but incredibly entertaining. Likewise, this soundtrack features some of the most inane and forgettable pieces of hip hop, crunch, hardcore and japanese surf-rock you will ever hear -- but it's undeniably fun! File this under "guilty pleasure" (very, very guilty), turn off your brain and enjoy the ride.
If you liked the movie, this soundtrack delivers a perfect high-energy mix of tunes to accompany your next underground street race full of fast cars and hot chicks.

The soundtrack fits the movie,

The movie isn't to be taken seriously. At best, face value -- nice cars, fast driving, scantily clad women, troubled kid gets a second chance, etc. I enjoyed it as shameless fun for an hour and half. The soundtrack follows in typical Fast and Furious suit, it fits the movie and I enjoy the songs. Just like the movie, it's nothing deep, but there are good beats or however you want to put it. If you want something deep or provocative, look elsewhere.
The track missing from the Hulk mobile scene is Ooh Ahh by Grits.

FYI The song when Sean is walking through Han's garage and gets the red EVO is by "Juelz Santana- There It Go (The Whistle Song)"

Looking for song!,
This review is from: Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift (Audio CD)
When Sean gets to see Hans garage for the first time (he's looking at all the cars), there's this rap song in the background. It kinda sounds like there's wistleling in the chorus. I loved the song! Does anyone know what it's called?

For me the soundtrack is great, like the movie too. The main song from Teriyaki Boyz is the best on the Soundtrack. But there are 2 songs not on the Soundtrack. When Twinkie shows Shawn his Hulk-Car and when Han goes with Shwan the first time in his garage!! Has anybody a hint???

Really well done. This is an extremely well crafted CD. Six Days is probably the best song on here.
Note: The song when they're waiting for bow wow's car is Ooh Aah - Grits

F&F3 Tokyo Drift song 9 isnt,

This review is from: Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift (Audio CD)
I bought this for a number of songs. I like the Julez Santana song "There it go" The whistle song. Well, According to the Amazon listing Track 9 should be that song, but on the CD its Atari Teenage Riot "Speed". Santana's song is nowhere on the CD. I hope Amazon can get this error fixed soon. I just wonder how many other CD's are like that. Other than that good CD.
