Just got back from a week in Guatemala. This book was great for it size--fit in my back pocket comfortably, so it was very handy.

The phrases were mostly good. The ones i used were understood. There were some key phrases missiong tho, like: how do you say xxx in spanish (they have how do you pronouce xxx, but that's different), or please speak slower. How great would THAT little phrase have been.

Same wiht the small dictionary..."engagement" is included, but "jam" (for my toast) was not?

So overall it was helpful and much better than nothing, just could have been a lot better--more focused on the truly essential phrases and words needed.
