Great song,

Just wanted to say that although i am not a huge fan of Paul Oakenfold, he has me hooked on this song. And Brittany Murphy--who knew the damn girl could sing! She has a great voice, and, come to think of it, she kind of sounds like Esthero. Well, pick up the single only, the cd sucked, this is the only good song from it. Great sound, a lot of fun.

This song is probably one of Oakenfold's best to date. The vocals are by Britney Murphy of acting fame, in movies like Girl Interrupted, Black Book and a number of more teen fare comedies.
The Lyrics combine with the music to make for a very sexy, club Track. There are Mixes by Roman Hunter, Eddie Biaz, Nat Monday & liam Shakar adding a harder techno feel to a normally trancey fare. I certainly recommend this cd to anyone who is a fan of Oakenfold or this song, cause I was very surprised to hear even better version's of this song. Ones I hadn't even heard in clubs or anywhere else.

I am so amazed of the powerful voice that comes out of such a little person, her and Paul Oakenfold have done an amazing job. This single makes you want to dance and sing non stop!!!!!!

Rockin retro/electro track...,

This review is from: Faster Kill Pussycat (Audio CD)
A bunch of slammin' mixes rounds out this package of mixes. Personally, I prefer the Club Mix, with its fast electro guitar riff and similar electro bass. Brittany's vocals and the harmony are classic pop punk and the chorus has an excellent hook. There's such an 80s feel to this one. It's got the edge of The Killers, The Bravery, and The Protocol, but female vocals and harmony like the brilliant remix of "4Ever" by the Veronicas.

Why we still buy LP's,

This was the first LP I bought and it reminds me of how fun LP are. Well, 'Faster Kill Pussycat' is a good dance track as well as a good test of your sound system, deafening bass, and bright highs combine for a good workout for your phono amp. However the track list is different from what's listed, see below. The album is a very clean cut, no poping even with very light needle force with every thing sounding just as it should. My only complaint is that the Album version is not included.
Side 1: Faster Kill Pussycat [Roman Hunter Mix] Faster Kill Pussycat [Club Mix] Side 2: Faster Kill Pussycat [Nat Monday Mix] Faster Kill Pussycat [Liam Shachar Mix]

Great Music for the advanced skier,

This is fast, driving music! I certainly don't think this ablum is anything near great and I wish there were not as many vocals in the first songs.
As a 59 year old skier I like to put on an Ipod and ski to the fast beat of the music. This requires a skier to be a dark blue to black run in ability due to turning with the beat. If you listen to this music on a green slope you will be warned that you are speeding by the Patrol. I must also stress this music is great for long or "quick" road trips too. Oakenfold could have done much better, but the music is worth listening to!

Who Knew?,

Who knew Brittany could sing? I didn't. I was ignorant I suppose but she does a good job here. Paul lays down a good beat and catchy hooks and makes you wanna dance. It's not a complicated song full of all sorts of gimmicks but rather a simple song with a good beat. An excellent dance tune that belongs in your dance collection.
