This book is completely amazing! For anyone new to a fast or just redoing a fast, this book is good for that purpose. It also goes through each of the fasts. Great and awesome blessing!

I had to replace this book because I continually give my copies away. This book has completely changed my life. It is full of life and addresses fasting in a way that makes you want to fast for all the wonderful benefits. Book came in perfect condition. It did take fairly long to arrive.

i really enjoyed this book. However, It is not a different book. It is part of the Fasting book. I was disappointed. It is basically the first part of the Fasting book.

Alot of churches don't talk about fasting, and if they do, the information they provide is extremely limited. Jentezen covers the topic of fasting in a thorough and scripturally-based manner. I was amazed at some of his personal stories that he shared in the book about the effects fasting had in his life and ministry.

Loved it, however one chapter was repeated at the end of the book. Like a mis-print. Never-the-less, still a good read, and I recommend anyone interested in ('Fasting:the private discipline that brings public reward')Obtaining a public reward, this book will help.
