PM Fastrack Exam Simulation Software for the PMP Exam: Version 6

I've been using this software for a few months. The test preparation correlates very well to PMBOK 4th edition as well as the RMC PMP Exam Prep 6th edition. While there is ample material covered, it is not the sole basis of the PMP test content.
Software updates are delivered approximately every two weeks and I haven't encountered any issues with the update process.

It's probably one of the better solutions out there, so why didn't it get 5 stars?

In my preparation experience taking both PMP and Super PMP simulation tests, I noticed two annoying items:
1) IMHO I noticed the Super PMP test doesn't present the more difficult questions as advertised. In fact, I've experience the inverse phoenomenon where the standard PMP prep questions are tougher
2) The randon question generator needs to be more random. I've encountered near-identical exam questions while taking back-to-back simulation tests. With a pool of 1,400 questions, I understand the odds of mathematical probablity, but I recommend an enhancement here.

These two items are far from a deal-breaker and most likely software "features" fixed in a future version ;)

I installed the software only to run into application errors related to licensing validation. I had to uninstall the program, delete encryption files, then re-install. It's working now. Technical support was quick and the advice resolved the problem quickly. The 3-star rating comes from having issues "out of the box" with the product. That's not acceptable.

I'll update my review in a few weeks, once I've had a chance to take a few of the exams.

This product is not impressive. It is just another PM prep course. I expected much more but what I got was a typical PM prep course that you can find online much cheaper.

You may want to try a much less expensive yet very slick and diagnostic PMP Exam Simulator for Windows at frugalpmp dot com with over 1200 questions, PMBoK 4th edition material, simple install, test center automatic and practice modes, with breakdown by selectable knowledge areas (both PMBoK and other areas tested not in the PMBoK - like experiential practice questions. Graphic histogram, printable diagnoses, and immediate diagnostic feedback, so you can strengthen your weak knowledge areas. This one was both written and developed by an MBA, PMP, software engineering pro, no non-PMP third parties involved.
