My cats were excited about this toy at first, but now they rarely touch it. That's too bad, because it looks extremely durable. For some reason, the allure of this toy wears off pretty quickly. It's a little too big for them to carry around in their mouths, and I think that might be part of the problem.

I knew this toy was going to be a hit before I even unwrapped the plastic packaging. One of my cats began going nuts trying to roll around in and about the small shipping box it had arrived in - probably the residual essence of the catnip.

I can't wait for the other cats to wake from their naps so they can join in the fun - I will probably have to regulate how often they play with it so it doesn't get old.

If your cat likes catnip and/or playing in plastic/paper bags, this is the toy for you! I ordered three as gifts, but will probably be ordering a few more for all the cat-lovers in my life!

Crinkly, loaded with yummy catnip, and just the right size for bunny-kicks! It's the perfect toy! and cute as a... well, as a bug, to boot.

This liddle Crinkly Ladybug with a funny face and googly eyes scared the living heck out of my BIIIG Bad Baby Twinkle when she first saw it. Ever see a 17 pound 3 foot long cat jump straight up in the air??? I guess I should apologize to her for laughing so hard.

Anywayz, BBBT eventually realized that Ms Ladybug was not going to bite her and she started playing with it.

I have a very small cat and generally she prefers small toys, so I didn't buy this immediately. She also tends to dislike crackle toys, another negative. Well, I ended up getting it for a friend and my cat stole it. Apparently it's the perfect size for hugging and licking to death. Highly recommended for any catnip lover.

Fat Cat Toys are the absolute best cat toys made. And the crackle toys are so cute! Both my cats, Dharma and Smokey, love these little guys - crackler frog, crackler ladybug and crackler butterfly. They're infused with really good catnip and they make a soft little crackling noise which seems to intrigue them. Smokey carries the frog (his fave) all around the house. Most cat toys I've purchased have simply ended up under the furniture, but not these. They are played with and loved.

I thought it was cute but my cat doesn't agree! He never plays with it.
