This is a very nice item and works well when used properly. The only thing that you have to careful of is making sure that you use a cooking spray, like Pam, and spray evenly or you will get a pool at the bottom. If you spray too little, the tops will break off in the pan.

Basically, if you grease it properly, it works great and the mini-teared cupcakes look fantastic.

Pan worked great - the only trouble I had with it was that, despite the description listing it as dishwasher safe, it probably isn't a great idea. I used it once, put it in the dishwasher, and pulled out a discoloured and scratched-looking pan. I'm assuming it will still work fine, it just doesn't look as nice. It would probably be best to soak it in warm water and hand wash it. Other than that, four of my six cakes came out fine (that part was my fault, as I didn't have Pam and was improvising) and they were adorable.

I have tried both shortening and flour and using cooking spray and most of the cakes still stick. The pan is NOT dishwahser safe as I learned after washing it in the dishwasher. I would have returned it but it was from Santa. After reading the other reviews I thought I was safe to buy it, but was really disappointed. For all 6 to turn out in one piece I would have to make 6 different pans. I would NOT buy this again and definalty not make it from Santa.
