Fat Daddio's 18 Aluminum Gauge Half Sheet Pan

Purchased pans but description does not begin to describe them. They are made of extremely soft aluminum, bottom pan was bent and dented when they arrived. Not nearly as good as the Amco Food Service Half Sheet Pans which I had previously purchased. We will use these as give aways with a sheet cake or cookies on them and I will purchase more Amoco half sheet pans for our use. Guess the old adage is correct, you get what you pay for!!

Fairly heavy, but slightly soft aluminum. Arrived with a small, but insignificant dent.
In my kitchen, this sort of pan is mainly as a drip pan under pies and roasts.
I also use it for roasting vegetables.
Non-stick pans would have issues in these dry and high-heat applications, so I needed a simple uncoated half-sheet pan.
This pan has done the job at a good price.

There are better pans out there, but this one does the jobs I bought it for at a price I'm happy with.

After searching for this type of pan finally found it! I got tired of going through so many non-stick cookie sheets (from husband cutting up meats on) I needed something that would last and would not rust at all. This is it!! I roast meat and veggies on it, bake cookies, even use it to pour peanut brittle in for easy clean-up..I am buying more right now!!

This pan is a perfect all-purpose pan. I use it as a cookie sheet, in the broiler, for bread, and many other uses. Great price allowed me to stock up and buy several. You can never have enough of this type of pan in your kitchen.

Is it the best on the market - probably not.
Hardly poor quality though.
I don't use it too much and have not anything to push the performance like put it in alone under a broiler to see if it would warp and pop up.
But I have used the two I bought a number of times for typical things.
I baked cookies.
I used them as an insurance for spillage under a lasagna.
etc...

They have performed great.
Not only do I feel I got what I paid for but I paid a cheap enough price to get a couple for the single price of some others.

The gauge is given in the description and the aluminum used is typical.
This is not some flimsy throw away pan by any means.

This pan is identical to one that I purchased several months ago. My wife and I are both pleased with this and the prior purchase.
