These pans are a very nice weight. The sides go straight up to form a nice edge. These will probably last me my lifetime.

These pans are easy to clean, heat evenly,and all my baked goods have come out perfectly. I think they are sized better than some I have purchased elsewhere. the 9X13 is truly 9X13.I purchased these for a small bakery I work in, and hope to get some for home soon.

Bought these for my husband who bakes poticia for Christmas each year...lots of poticia! He has tried quite a few different pans and these seem very heavy duty. Baked evenly. So far very impressed with them. Has some kind of no stick coat, but he still sprayed pans before baking. Worked fine.

Forever I have bought the Good Cook or store brand non-stick sheet pans. Even when greased and floured I've had cakes rise too much and crack or stick. Recently I purchased the Fat Daddio's round cake pan with great results and decided to try the 9x13x2 inch sheet pan. I sprayed in some Pam with flour, poured in the batter, and got back a beautiful golden brown, fairly level cake. And it slid out with no sticking. Although the description says it is dishwasher safe, I prefer to hand wash my cookware. I was so pleased that the spray and few crumbs in the pan wiped right off with a sponge and warm soapy water. I was so glad with this purchase I got a second pan!

Well worth the money!

This is my first time using a Fat Daddio cake pan, but their fondant roller pin is nice and heavy. Based on review research, I chose this pan over Wilton.

I was a bit fearful of making such a large cake and getting it to cook evenly, so I also bought the insulating strips and a flower nail to ensure even cooking. I have yet to use it without these accessories, because I can't afford to make a mistake with a cake! I wet the insulating strips (wilton, and per instructions) and pin them in place around the pan, then spray a large flower nail with baking spray and place flat side down in the middle. Cakes come out wonderfully evenly cooked, and no doming in the middle! They were so even across the top I didn't have to level it at all. Well, once I did, but it wasn't by much. Two standard cake mixes will give you quite a nice thick cake as well. I think if you were to use the pan by itself, it would still cook evenly.

The nice feature is it's durable construction, I'm always afraid of denting cake pans, but this one is quite durable and heavy. Once you slide the cake out (highly recommend a baking non-stick spray), it comes out with beautiful, even, straight corners, perfect for event cakes. I've also placed a 9x13 in cake on top for more portions and it complements well. Another nice plus: easy to clean and keep in good shape.

Based on the performance of this cake pan, I will be looking out for more Fat Daddio baking items. They are very moderately priced and give professional results.

Normally, I wouldn't have much to say about baking pans one way or another, unless to complain about one being flimsy or baking unevenly. As that's not the case with Fat Daddio's pans, I originally didn't intend to post a review.

But last week, my roommate convinced me to make Igor bars for his birthday. Igor bars, if you're not familiar with them, are a layered dessert with chocolate chip cookie dough on the bottom, caramel, and rice krispie treats. They're gooey and sticky and after hours spent slaving in the kitchen, I about died when I realized that I'd forgotten to grease the pan into which I'd just finished layering my caramel-y, marshmallow-y creation. Time came to cut the thing and serve it, and I was sure we'd have a horrible mess on our hands.

Not so. The Igor bars, caramel, marshmallow, stickiness and all came out without even leaving much residue behind.

The next time I need to buy baking pans, I'll be coming back to this company.

Holy crap. Just have to add to this review, because I made caramel corn in these pans, plus a third pan that I had sitting around in my kitchen. The caramel coating was made of sugar and corn syrup and was sticky as all get-out, and it was a PAIN to get out of the odd-duck pan, but when I poured the excess coating out of the Fat Daddio pans, it was like I was pouring out some kind of thick oil. It didn't stick to the pans at all. I'm pretty sure some laws of physics were being broken.

It's awesome! Looks as good as the day I got it out of the box!! The reason - I cannot use this pan because I had a major brain lapse and forgot to check and see if something that big would even fit in my oven...... OOPS! Not happening! Now attempting to barter with a local bakery..... It is a fine pan with a nice solid lip all the way around. heavy duty and no doubt would last forever! I will buy smaller ones!

With a cake this size some people would figure that it would need at least one if not two heating cores. This pan didn't need any. Which is impressive since I am well aware my oven is not even close to even when heating. I actually forgot to rotate the pan and still, perfect baking throughout. LOVE IT. Totally worth its weight in gold.

This is great pan for nice even cake baking. I have tried both darker cakes like choclate and lighter cakes like poppy seed with equal results. Nice even baking, great color edge to edge and clean up is a snap. This pan is not non-stick and will get small scratches from using a knife to cut your cake but that won't effect the baking at all.

The pan is sturdy and should last a long time. Note that the stated dimensions do NOT include the lip which is about half inch all round.
