DON'T BUY THESE.
I bought two 12x12x2 pans with removable bottoms - the pan bottom inserts do not fit in both - one is too large, hangs up 1/4" above pan bottom; the other is bowed and slants so it wobbles rather than lie flat. Neither pan holds batter - it seeps out under the bottom insert. What a mess!
I also purchased the 11x15x2 size and this pan works as it was meant to - insert fits well, lies flat and cake turned out very nice.

These removable bottom pans are amazing. So much easier to cut baked goods- no more digging out. Really- I wish I had known about them a lot sooner. I'm giving my old regular baking pans away.

I thought these were great. I didn't have any problems with the one I used leaking. I did line the bottom with parchment paper so I could easily transfer it to a platter. I have not tried a regular cake batter but I bought them strictly for cheesecakes so it doesn't really matter to me if they work or that or not.

I am very disappointed, I ordered the 10x10x3 and when i opened the box it just looked so big, but the labels all said it was the 10x10x3 pan. We measured it and It was actually the 12x12x3 pan which is way to big for my use or even possible uses. I have to return it for the correct pan, I am giving the product 3 stars because with out being able to use it I am limited but it is exactly what I wanted, the thick aluminum everything! So excited to get the correct pan, and I hope my next review of the pan will be happier with being able to use the correct pan.

This was purchased as a polyanna gift. The purchase specifically requested it and that tells me alot about it's quality because she is a baker.
