This review is from: Fat and Thin: A Natural History of Obesity (Hardcover)
Is being "overweight" as bad of a thing as our modern society would have you believe it is? Maybe not. This book doesn't take sides. It gives us the facts. It debunks myths and prejudices. It reveals the results of studies that you never knew existed. It shows you how biased the world is towards the weightloss industry. If you're fat you'll come away feeling like you're not "bad" for being so. You'll feel validated as a human being. If you're thin and have any specific feelings about fat people, you'll think differently after reading this book. Read it. It's great.
