5.0 out of 5 stars Best Laundry product
I used Eco Balls in the UK. I found them on Amazon a few months ago to use here in the USA. I have used them for two month now and they are brillant! My whites are white and everything is very clean and fresh. We are all very allergic to enzyme cleaning products and this is great for us. No more heavy detergent containers to lug from the store or deal with. No more messy...

My whites are white and everything is very clean and fresh. We are all very allergic to enzyme cleaning products and this is great for us. No more heavy detergent containers to lug from the store or deal with. No more messy detergent spills. We also travel frequently and these can be tossed into a suitcase and used anywhere. This is the future!

Ecoballs are great: efficient, cheap and good for the environment. No more detergent needed. I sometimes use stain remover in addition to it, just as I used to do with regular detergent!

STILL NOT SOLD ON THE LAUNDRY BALLS YET BUT MY CLOTHES DO SEEM CLEAN. THE ONLY THING IS THAT THE CLOTHES DON'T HAVE A FRESH SMELL LIKE YOU WOULD WITH LAUNDRY DETERGENT. THE DRYER BALLS WORK GOOD. THEY DRY THE CLOTHES FASTER AND THE CLOTHES DO SEEM SOFTER. IT IS NICE TO CUT BACK ON LAUNDRY DETERGENT AND FABRIC SOFTNER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ITEM!!!!

Producers of laundry balls have been criticised for making pseudoscientific claims about how these balls work and the extent of their benefits. 5.0 out of 5 stars Washing clothes without all the mess, September 11, 2009

This was actually my second purchase of Eco Balls (one for home, one for the cabin). They do a great job of cleaning clothes. No harsh chemicals; no artificial smells! No spilled laundry detergent, no sticky rinse additives.

I have used Eco Balls for several months now, and don't intend to ever go back to detergents, etc. In the long run, it also saves a lot of money.

1.0 out of 5 stars These are NOT Ecoballs. Cheap knockoff. Beware!, June 23, 2011

I bought these almost 3 years ago but never wrote a review out of sheer frustration. I just came across them on the "Items you need to review" page, so here goes: These are NOT Ecoballs. Note that they are called "Eco Laundry Balls" and are not the same, revered green cleaning product as Ecoballs. They don't last nearly as long as Ecoballs (only about 200 washes vs. 1000 claimed by Ecoballs) in addition to being ineffective. In the 3 months that I used them, they made my clothes increasingly stiff and wrinkly to the point that some of my shirts never recovered even after going back to detergent and fabric softener. I feel I could have achieved the same or better results with just water. These are definitely a scam knockoff at the same price as the original. They are represented to be the same as Ecoballs and the listing certainly doesn't volunteer the fact that they are different. Immediately after purchasing, I attempted to get a refund but ended up giving up due to the seller being unresponsive and hoping that they would work as well as the original. They do not. Do not purchase!

I was very sceptical that these would actually clean my clothes but they do! They're helping my septic system and water bills too as I no longer use the second rinse cycle on my washing machine. I usually use one Eco Ball in a wash and the clothes come out clean. A great product, and the contents are lasting a long time. It definitely saves money on detergent and helps the environment too.

I want to use some eco-friendly product for my everyday laundry use, and this product is great.
I didn't use laundry detergent since I got this, and it works well. For the stain, I added a little amount of detergent and it does work. Dryer balls work well, eventhough I didn't add a laundry sheet. Price of this product is bit high for me, but I think it worth it.

I've had the eco-laundry balls for a few weeks and really like them a lot. Easy to use and the clothes really feel and smell clean. Now if I could just get my Mom to use them.
