4.0 out of 5 stars Good British Cozy Mystery, August 6, 2011
This review is from: Fatal Curtain (Paperback)
This was an older book written in 1980 but still entertaining this decade. A Scotland Yard, Inspector Kenworthy has gone undercover to seek our a group of possible trouble makers. He drafts his wife, Elspeth without telling her of the mission. The natives catch on to his position but do believe he is holidaying. Inspector Kenworthy goes undercover quite well except for...Elspeth who quite dresses him down for not informing her. They have been married a while and it adds some humor to the story plot.

The locals are putting on their villages' century play and all is as it should be until a lovely, 15yr old, lead star comes up dead. Then the villagers look at the outsiders for the crime and Inspector Kenworthy realizes he had better solve this mystery quickly.

A very clever British who done it, and a treat for fans of English Villag Genre.
