This is a book based on Ed Young Jr's sermon series on the seven deadly sins. These seven deadlies are not actually listed in scripture right next to each other, but historically, they have been identified as such by later church fathers and historians.

Young often doesn't get deep enough in the Word for my taste buds, but this book rocked my socks off. I was under major conviction as I read about sloth and envy and lust and all the other ugly things that tempt Christians.

I have truly enjoyed the book. We are studying the book in my church bible class on Monday nights. My pastor found the book first and thought that it would be an interesting book to have a group discussion. We are learning so much in such a short period of time. The auther makes you think about things in a total different light. It is interesting how he draws you into deeper thought about what you feel regarding yourself and others. It has changed my way of thinking and help me to not just focus on myself but the welfare of others around me.
