Book Description

Twins Ellsa and Ellie are completely different in character, personality, taste and interests. Apart from the striking resemblance to each other, they share the one thing siblings shouldn’t…. the same taste in men.

They keep falling for the same man, creating a quiet rivalry between them. Determined not to let a man come between them ever again, Ellie and Ellsa agree to stay away from each others relationships. But when they meet Dale Carson, an FBI agent and a bachelor, their love lives are turned upside down.

But they aren’t the only ones taken by the rogue. His partner and long time lover, Gwen Johansson, also called dibs.

Carson is interested in only one of them. He is pulled by Ellie’s passion for love and art, and most importantly, him. What starts as a sexual chase, ends with his permanent retirement from bachelorhood.

But their love story is not a smooth one.

Carson’s day job comes knocking on his front door and before he knows it, his whole world is ripped apart.

Out of all the possible suspects, Ellie has the most evidence stacked up against her. She is implicated in the brutal murders of her ex-boyfriends, and Carson is faced with the horror of arresting the love of his life. With two suspects of his own, he is convinced she is being set up, but he has no way of proving it.

5.0 out of 5 stars bloody breakup February 1, 2013
By Reader
Format:Kindle Edition
I enjoyed this book. it began like a normal romance novel with the usual boy meets three women but falls in love with one, with the jealousy and intrigue. But towards the ending things began to change and it was a crime novel. I loved it.

This is truly an incredible story written by the amazing Christina OW! With twin sisters, caught up in the madness of love, jealousy and serial killers, Ms. OW has once again written a story that I couldn't put down! As the FBI's Behavioral Sciences Unit travels through the minds of serial killers, the twins are caught in between love and madness, a sickness too deep to be imagined. While I was trapped in the story, it was difficult to follow at times as it lacked a smooth transition between scenes. I still have Christina OW as one of my favorite authors to read and review and recommend you read this incredible book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing January 29, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Not only was this a great mystery but a sweet romance. Also something that I haven't seen in a long time is a book that is not full of sex. Not only was that a refreshing change but this book had a lot of twists and turns that kept me reading. Can't wait for part 2.

4.0 out of 5 stars SIBLING RIVALRY AT ITS BEST January 22, 2015
Format:Kindle Edition
WOW! OMG! I have read books with characters that are crazy and twisted, but this one took the cake. Fatal Jealousy by Christine Ow is a delightful and exciting read that I had difficulty putting down. This is my first time reading this author’s work and it definitely will not be my last.
Fatal Jealousy is a fast paced story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It was no mystery as to who the serial killer was, however the way in which the author weaved the story made me eager to discover what was coming next.

The story centres on Ellsa and Ellie Jabari. They are identical in looks but different in personalities. Ellsa is sophisticated and has expensive tastes. Ellie is on the other side of the spectrum. She is modest and has simple tastes. Because of her personality men found Ellie more attractive than her sister, which made for some serious rivalry.

Dale Carson is an FBI agent with the Behavioral Analysis Unit. He and his team solve the goriest crimes involving psychopaths. (While reading I was reminded of the TV show Criminal Minds). Dale is a player and is not interested in being involved in a committed relationship. This changed, however, when he met Ellie. Ellie changed his perspective on relationships.

I enjoyed the way the romance was portrayed. It was not rushed, which made it credible. I loved that the author built on the romance before proceeding to the suspense aspect of the story. The way she merged both aspects made for a thrilling read.

Although I found the story riveting I am unable to give it more than 4 stars. There were times while reading when I became a bit confused. There was so much going on that there were times I had to re-read paragraphs to get a clear understanding of who was speaking to whom.

4.0 out of 5 stars The conflict meter is through the roof September 5, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
An exciting 4.5 stars
A brilliant story that weaves envy, mystery, love, family, hopes, disappointments, and so much more into one creative read. Christina Ow does a fantastic job of telling the story of identical twins who are complete opposites.

Ellsa, a sophisticated beauty who loves designer clothes and her twin sister’s men more, is a force to be reckoned with. She has good looks, style, confidence, & oozes sex. What more can a man want right? Well, think again. Her vanity gets in the way of her meeting any man who doesn’t see her as a bed mate only.

Ellie, on the other hand is just as attractive as Ellsa yet meek. She has a great personality that captivates the men and just enough flirt to keep them coming back for more. Men find her the number one choice between her and Ellsa.

Rounding out the plot are secondary characters Kris, Audrey, & Gwen which adds some light humor, arguments, and testaments of true friendship.

Dale, is the man both twins favor, but he clearly only has eyes for one. I liked how the author merged the women (Ellie, Audrey, Gwen) and then later (Kris & Ellsa) in Dale’s life. They all came in contact together at some point igniting a firestorm of events.

I read “Fatal Jealousy” while at work and was glued to my Kindle the whole time. I found myself agitated when interrupted because I was so engaged in the story. I was dumbfounded at shenanigans Ellsa pulled. All I can say is OH MY! I felt bad and embarrassed for Ellie because of Ellsa’s stunts, yet Ellie’s unwavering love for her sister baffled me at the same time.

The love between Dale & Ellie is portrayed wonderfully. The love scenes are not explicit but the reader will feel the endearing moments between the couple all the same.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This could be a blessing or a curse.
In this case a bit of both. A blessing to be able to read and review this awesome little novel,
but a curse because it leaves you craving for more and the extremem desire to read the second.

Christina Ow takes two identical twin sisters whose looks cannot be separated but two distinct dfferent personalities and lifestyles.
Those personalities and lifestyles are so extremely different. She adds in an FBI agent to weave a story.

This story comprises itself of love or is it lust at first sight with the Russian mob, sex mystery, intrigue and multiple murders.

It is extremely well written and requires you to turn the page and keep reading until it is finished.

In the end, you are left wanting to follow the storyline and get answers and to what happens next.

You will read the epilogue and be awestruck and absolutely have to open book 2 in the series Fatal Obsession.

Do not try to read these out of order. You would hate yourself for it.

More About the Author

i love reading novels that take me on a ride of wild emotions. books
have always been an escape for me, for a few hours i love to live the
lives of characters i grow to cherish and admire.
I've always had an active imagination and because of it I've lived in
my head more than i have been in the outside world. I've always
imagined scene-rials and wondered how it would turn out in the end, and
what kind of emotions it would invoke.
i began writing down the many stories in my head in 2010.

i have a Diploma in Law and I'm currently in my last year for my BA in
International Studies.

Writing was never a career path for me it was just a release as
fashion design is my true passion, and now writing has become a vital
part of me and my family as my twin sister (M.O.) is also a writer.

i hope to always continue with my love of writing no matter what the
future holds for me
