5.0 out of 5 stars Fatal "The Don" Hussein
fatal's self titled follow up to, "In the Line of Fire" is off the hook. This, to me, is the real follow up to Tupac's Makaveli album. Since Fatal Hussein has not been with the other Outlawz, they have made dissapointing albums. Fatal has continued to bring the heat and realness 2 tha rap game. The opening track is done with New Child, a New York Outlaw...

fatal's self titled follow up to, "In the Line of Fire" is off the hook. This, to me, is the real follow up to Tupac's Makaveli album. Since Fatal Hussein has not been with the other Outlawz, they have made dissapointing albums. Fatal has continued to bring the heat and realness 2 tha rap game. The opening track is done with New Child, a New York Outlaw. The second track "I'm an Outlaw" has the energy that the outlawz had when they were with Pac, Young Noble is featured on this track. The other outlawz appear on this album to show that there is no beef between Fatal and the outlawz. Fatal was smart and removed Ja Rule from the song "My Ni--az", because Ja is a self proclaimed 2Pac. Yall Can't F' With Us, is fatal's diss track hittin' up Tragedy Khaddafi for bitting Yak's name, Silk got shoter, and snoop doggy dog for being unloyal to 2pac and the row back in 1996. Blood in, Blood out is very remincant to pac's Hail Mary (not that it sounds the same, but the feeling is simmilar)and you would swear that tupac is singing the song Thug 4 Life. Thug in, Thug out, answers any questions a real Fatal fan has about where fatal is at and where his "loyalty" lies. The other Outlawz should be cryin' that they can't be this hard. This album is everything that is missing on Tupac's Beter Days (except 4 Late Night) If you liked Makaveli before his tracks were messed with cop this. He is the most under rated rapper, but people that herd him get real scared when you mention his name on the streets, especially in New York. I waited four years for this to drop. He's gonna appear on the Jerzey Mob album and Monica's all eyez on me, cop um both and support whats real and not that flour MTV comercial cilps, I mean stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great 2nd Album -- 4.5 stars, November 11, 2004

This review is from: Fatal (Audio CD)
Rap-A-Lot delivers Fatal's long awaited sophomore album 4 years after they recorded it and 5 years after his first album. This whole album was recorded in 1999 and is still trump tight in `03. The production is tight and Fatal fits it great and the output is a bunch of strong songs. Great production from Rap_A-Lot's main 2, Mr. Lee does 7 songs, Mike Dean does 5, and Edi Amin does 2. He has his hardcore songs on here and even disses Snoop. There are also a few deeper songs as well. There is no weak point on the album and you can easily listen through from track 1 to track 14 without skipping any tracks. It has 1 classic, 3 ok songs, the other 10 are good or great. A must have for Outlaw/2Pac fans and rap fans alike, this album is great. Features fellow Outlawz, the legend: Scarface, Snypaz, New Child, and Phats Bossilini.

#1 - 10 (classic hard song - f/ New Child)
#2 - 9 (f/ Young Noble
#3 - 9 (gangsta $h*+ f/ Young Noble & Phats Bossilini)
#4 - 7.5 (disses Snoop Dogg)
#5 - 8.5 (deep song about death)
#6 - 9.5 (f/ Napoleon & Young Noble)
#7 - 8.5
#8 - 9.5 (hard song - f/ Snypaz)
#9 - 7.5
#10 - 8 (f/ Edi Amin, Young Noble - about gov't rats)
#11 - 7.5 (f/ Scarface - about being a daddy)
#12 - 8.5 (slower song)
#13 - 9
#14 - 7.5 (slower song)

THIS ALBUM IS WHAT I CALL REAL OUTLAW ROUGH [stuff]. ITS ABOUT TIME THEY PU THIS ALBUM OUT!! RAPALOT RECORDS IS REALLY SLEEPIN ON FATAL. HE BRINGS THE TRUTH AND JUST SAYS HOW HE FEELS. THE TRACK "YA'LL CAN'T F[u]CK WITH US" SAYS IT ALL. HE EXPLAINS ON HOW SNOOP DOGG WENT ON A NEW YORK RADIO STATION IN 1996 AND WAS HOLLERIN THAT IT WAS PAC WHO IS ALL THIS EAST COAST WEST COAST THANG AND WANTIN TO DO A RAP WITH BIGGIE AND PUFFY. THIS CD BRINGS THE TRUE THUGG TALES, INCLUDIN THE INTRO TRACK WHICH INCLUDES THE UNKNOWN OUTLAW NEW CHILD WHICH FATAL BROUGHT IN. THIS CD IS REAL THUGG [stuff]. GO GET IT! 5.0 out of 5 stars Hot, August 26, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Fatal (Audio CD)
I bought this after listening to the two Outlawz' releases. This is by far hotter than anything I've heard from Outlawz in a while. also better than the tracks that the outlawz have been mixing for Pac on his post-humous releases (by the way, what happened to the original beat for "the life I lead".. they ruined it on the last Pac release.. it was better on the underground tapes). i'm on to buy more outlawz discs..
