Based in Helsinki, Finland, Marimekko first garnered international attention when Jackie Kennedy purchased eight Marimekko dresses which she flaunted throughout the 1960 US Presidential Campaign. The Marimekko line of Fatboy bean bags come in two classic patterns, including Maija Isola’s Unikko pattern. With its bold poppy design, the Unikko Fatboy attracts the eye, while the bean bag’s extra-large size and plush seating invite the body to sit back and relax. The bean bag features a nylon cover with protective coating to resist stains and water. For a soft and supportive seat, virgin expanded polystyrene beads fill the bean bag. The Unikko-patterned Fatboy comes in red, blue, or black, as well as in a junior size for youth. To care for the bean bag, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
