Man Oh Man!!!, May 21, 2009
Great read, fast, steady pace. Good character development, I like the way Ms. Alers incorporated the Whitfield Brides in the story so that we could keep in touch with them. The chemistry between Kyle and Ava seemed to jump off the page at you. Well written, But some of the description on the back of the book does not apply. Other than that the book was really good. Can't wait for Ivan and Duncan's story.

Taking a Leap of Faith, May 25, 2009
Man of Faith is the first book of the trilogy and I have to tell you that this book is wonderful. The characters of this book just jump off the page at you from the beginning and I tell it doesn't stop until the end of the book.
Ava Warrick is a Social Worker who is on her way to hospital to see one of her clients when she runs into the back of Kyle Chatham vintage Jaguar. As Kyle get out to look at he damage of his car and Ava he notice that Ava is hurt and need to be taken to the hospital.
From the moment Kyle lay eyes of Ava he knew he wanted to get to know Ava and for some reason felt the need to become her protector.
Ava is sassy, intelligent, independent woman who has had two disaster of a relationship and she has put up a wall around her heart and decided not to date until Kyle. Kyle is the kind of man who is honest, loyal, a gentlemen at all time and the more Ava come at him the more he shows her that she will not scare him away because she doesn't want to be hurt.
Kyle befriend Ava and slowly break down that wall around her heart and although they have little disagreement within the book they manage to smooth thing over in a quickly manner. I tell you I enjoy Kyle so much and him and Ava are great together.
In the book when Kyle was telling Ava about his parents the way his mother describe his father was by saying that he was her "romance---novel hero, and I tell when I read that part that is exactly how to describe Kyle as a Novel Hero. Ladies you are going to love this man, and if Duncan & Ivan are anything like Kyle their books are going to be off the chain.
A must read and I recommend.

Luv to read, June 12, 2009
I would just like to say that I absolutely LOVED Man of Fate. Rochelle Alers has done it again. From the moment I started reading the story I couldn't put the book down. It was just a great reading from the beginning to the end. I actually didn't want to see the story end because I was looking for more. I can't wait to read the next installment to the series.
