I decided to finally go out and buy it, and it didn't turn out to be as bad as I thought it would be. It's pretty much the first few episodes of the anime (or the first few "days" in the visual novel), and it stays quite accurate, the only difference is that it's condensed, which is something I liked about this manga. I'm not going to discuss the story in this review, just to help prevent spoiling it.
As a Saber fanboy (well, a Rin fanboy too...) who's been following the series for a while, I was happy with how this turned out.
If you're already familiar with the story of Fate/Stay Night, then there isn't anything new here.
