Not as good as Vol. 1...,

This review is from: Fate/stay night Volume 2 (Fate/Stay Night (Tokyopop)) (Paperback)
Vol 2 of Fate Stay Night starts off much slower than vol 1. I won't get into too much detail, as to not spoil the story, but don't expect too much action in vol 2. Only the last 40 pages or so involve any action. Much of vol 2 just sets the stage for what feels like a going to be an action-packed vol 3. There is a lot of background information on how Tosaka and Emiya became involved in the holy grail war, as well as some info on Emiya's past.
All in all, this vol felt more like filler than actually advancing the story along, however it is still a solid read and a worthy addition to any manga collection. |
