Eight stories by hugely talented authors on a simple theme: women and their magic keep the world and mankind in sync.
Though I liked some stories (notably Hamre, Gunnufson, Grijalva and Byerly) better than others, each of the authors adds a special touch to their situations and locales. Some of the locales are found elsewhere, some are unusual. All fit as the gold needle of the Three Fates moves through time bringing lovers and hope together. If you haven't read this marvelous anthology, don't wait. It's a cohesive unit and well worth a read. Or two!
