Three People Works Best for this Huge Fathead!,

This review is from: Fathead Darth Vader Wall Decal (Kitchen)
Love this thing! I was 10 in 1977 and my youth was defined by Star Wars and sports.Anyway, we chose to gradually peel away the backing and put it up feet first. One person to unpeel and preliminarily place on the wall (you can smooth out later after all of it's up), one person to hold the top of the backing, and the third person in the middle (off to the side, actually, but keeping hands on it) to keep it from both coming off the wall and/or folding in on itself as it gets unpeeled (yes, that can be a nightmare - had to throw away a football helmet where that happened). I'm really not sure why others have theirs falling down in the middle of the night. What kind of walls do you have - dirty? Textured? We have painted (30 days earlier - satin enamel) drywall, and ours stuck fine and stays up just fine. My only complaints: the light saber glow looks fake (well, fakier than it should since light sabers don't exist, LOL). And, be prepared for possible shipping damaged. I ordered three different Fatheads at the same time. Two were damaged and had to be returned (one was folded in HALF at some point during shipment).

Darth Vader Fathead,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fathead Darth Vader Wall Decal (Kitchen)
Arrived promptly but the package was dented and the Fathead was slightly damaged... however once on the wall it looked fine. It looked great but fell off in the middle of the night and took my husband and I a long time to peel apart. Once apart there were little damaged areas that you can still see now that he is back up on the wall. He kept falling down so we bought a tube of wall paper repair paste and used a little around the edges to keep it up on the wall. So far, it is staying up (4 days now since using the repair paste) but I am not holding my breath. Our son loves it and his wall is textured. I probably would not buy this again just because of the headaches of trying to keep it up on the wall.

We got this for our nine year old sons room. We already had Boba Fett and had no problems with it. The Boba Fett which is smaller than Darth Vader came in two pieces. Darth was hard to put up even with two of us because it is so huge. We did it however it came off the wall in the middle of the night. So my husband and I were messing around at 3:30 a.m. trying to unstick this fathead from itself. It was all balled up and stuck together. We did manage to unstick it but it was damaged in the process. Not what you want to have happen after spending $90.
