5.0 out of 5 stars Child of Father AND Mother God
Sylvia Browne has astonished me again! She is so brave to have written a book, that actually contradicts the beliefs of fundamentalists! Good for you Sylvia! I thought this book spoke nothing but truth. I have been a fan of her for years, and have found nothing wrong with this beautiful spirit, and what she has to write. Plus, even if she was lying, why would she go...

3.0 out of 5 stars The Sequel to Mother God!
I like Sylvia Browne and I have been a fan of hers since she was a regular on the Montel Williams Show. In fact, she was the main reason that I watched the show on Wednesdays. With his departure, Wednesdays have never been the same for me without her. In this book, it's a sequel to Mother God but I haven't read that book so I can't compare and contrast. She writes about...

Plus, even if she was lying, why would she go through the trouble of writing a book, just to recieve negetive comments, from viewers, whose name's shall rename unspoken.

God Bless You Sylvia!

Here is one person who loves your books! And especially You!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Book by Sylvia Browne!, December 8, 2006
This review is from: Father God: Co-creator to Mother God (Hardcover)
Well she's done it again! Father God was written with truth and love. I love Sylvia Browne! She has helped me with my spiritual journey in ways she will never know.
She is a courageous woman that follows her own Truth and doesn't put people down that don't think like she does. She has always said...take what you want and leave the rest. What I love about her philosophy is that she makes you THINK! Kudos Sylvia! Job well done and keep those books coming.
Remember fearful ones...Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged...I believe thats in the bible too.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Educational Book on Religion, January 11, 2007
This review is from: Father God: Co-creator to Mother God (Hardcover)
Sylvia covers all the basic religions views on God in the first half of the book. The second half is not quite as dry and much more interesting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Father God: Co-creator to Mother God, February 6, 2007
This review is from: Father God: Co-creator to Mother God (Hardcover)
I loved this book. It went through the different religious faiths and explained how they differ and how they were similar. I learned alot about our Father. It explained how Father God has been falsely misinterpted by the many many different people re-writing the bible and the many books that had intentionally been left out. It opened my eyes to many questions I have had about our Lord.

I haven't read a book yet by Sylvia that's disappointed me and this was no exception. From the second I opened the book I was hooked.

The book doesn't go into enough detail about God as I would have liked. But it DOES have a great deal to offer, and it DOES talk about god throughout the various religions and how he's been changed or altered. Such as with Moses who, while trying to free his people from slavery had to make God into a vengeful, wicked entity (while still trying to be 'perfect' somehow), and how we haven't really let go of that since.

It also talks about various spiritual leaders such as Christ, Buddha and Mohammad. all in all it left me feeling a little bit better about myself and my relationship with God. There is a line in there I particularly loved, in which she says something like: "Never doubt for a second that you are a God." meaning we are part of God, therefore we ought not be ashamed of failing or making mistakes because God knows all and he loves us just the same.

I would also recommend people getting several other books by Sylvia. She's great. Such as: Mother God: The Female Principle to Our Creator, Past Lives, Future Healing, Sylvia Brownes Book of Dreams, Light A Candle, Secrets and Mysteries of the World. Phenomenon. Etc

^-^

5.0 out of 5 stars Sylvia Browne - The Dependable, May 12, 2007

This review is from: Father God: Co-creator to Mother God (Hardcover)
I loved this book. It is quick reading but full of valuable information about the world's religions; each having their own perceptions and originations of one God. Well worth reading; much information repeated as in most of Sylvia's books but I find that by repeating it enough, I do remember and finally digest it.
