More than any other thing I appreciate Gayle's simple approach and the straight forward way he removes the vail and brings us close to the Father's heart. Deeply ingraved in my heart is the thought that somehow God is sitting up in heaven with a lightning bolt in his hand, just waiting for me to mess up and then He can let it fly and turn me into a steaming pile of ashes. This book totally removes this great misconception from my thinking, and reminds me that my Heavenly Father loves me so much that he gave His only Son for me. This book really is a must read for anyone who doesn't understand grace, and/or has a tendency to lean towards a legalistic approach to life. I have also read The Jesus Style and The Spirit Style and I highly recommend them as well. By the way Gayle D. Erwin is a guy, and a really great one at that.

This book provides an in-depth look at the character of God. After reading "The Jesus Style," this book is very easy to understand, and helps you in your growth toward God. I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to increase their knowledge and love for our Creator.
