I can't believe I just heard Freddie for the very first time in life in Dallas; and, was hooked and reeled in by his playing style. He plays the trumpet and fluglehorn with such skillful ambidextrous and artistic mastery that it's totally mesmerizing! Listening to "Woven Into My Heart" makes you feel like he's weaving each note into the very fiber of your soul - piercing, yet, deliciously haunting and soothing. I had given up on love, until I heard Freddie play. Now I'm in love again, with the sweet sounds of Freddie Jones.

Yes! really nice. All kinds of good things, moments came to i-mind, whilst-i was listening. Congratulations, Mr. Freddie Jones & Band, your Father's House, is a swinging place, surely-so. i, will be listening-forward to more.

My favorite tune on this CD is, "For the Love of You". Freddie's rendition of this old great, just sends me! "2 Too Urban for JH" is funky, and a great Freddie original. I have been a big fan of Freddie's for the past 12 years. I like to experience his music live whenever I can. I can always count on hearing something new, even if it is the same tune. Freddie has a unique and funky sound with a WIDE range. He is very creative, and perhaps, the most talented trumpet player I have ever heard. He just keeps getting better and better, too. I have been lucky enough to hear some of tunes for his 3rd CD..and can only advise you to keep looking for it SOON. It is going to be called, "All Day", and I for one, will be listening to it ALL DAY LONG!!

I heard Freddie live for the first time in Little Rock, AR in August. He is one of the best trumpet players I've ever heard, so now I'm a fan! I still have a thing for Wynton, but there is room in my ever growing collection of greats for Freddie. I am a flutist and hope to collaborate with Freddie one day soon.

Those of us who've followed Freddie for the last 15 years waited for his national debut, and we are happy! It's a smooth sound, with all the evidence of a master musician. With any luck, you'll get to hear him live one day.
