Really good story about father and daughter in 1990's Ireland,
This review is from: Father's Music (Paperback)
I read this book years ago, as a college student in Cork, Ireland. It follows a young urban woman in her search for her father, a traditional musician from rural Donegal who left when she was a baby. I loved it and still remember it almost 15 years later - I wish it and the author's other books could be more easily found in the U.S., but most have not been published here.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in Ireland and/or the father daughter relationship.
