More About the Author

As a nine-year-old, Karen Sandler was a horse-crazy kid with an over-active imagination. When that pony she begged for didn't appear on Christmas morning, she wrote about horses in poetry and stories. It took until she was an adult to both buy her first horse (the very unladylike Lady) and see her first book published. Since then, she's sold seventeen other books. In addition to writing novels, short stories and screenplays, she loves riding her beautiful Andalusian/Morgan mare, Belle (who is very ladylike). She lives in Northern California with her husband, Gary, and three cats--pleasingly plump Tenka, formerly feral Zak, and cranky diabetic Casper. This is an excellent, heart-warming and emotionally moving story ... there's just something special about daddies and their little boys ... I've read it twice, and you might want to consider it for a spot on your keeper shelf - recommend!

Description from the book back cover:

WILL A READY-MADE FAMILY BRING HIM BACK FROM THE BRINK?

After a tragic chain of events nearly destroyed his life, Jameson O'Connell returned to the one place that he'd ever considered home. However, as soon as the brooding bachelor set foot back in Hart Valley, he reeled from the discovery that one night of frenzied passion with the tantalizing Nina Russo had brought a beautiful little boy into the world. After the shock subsided, the tortured town outcast insisted on claiming Nina as his bride. But despite the insatiable hunger that elevated them to exquisite heights in each other's arms, years of personal sacrifice had taken an enormous toll on them both. Now, it would take their pint-sized miracle to truly unite them in love...
