Really good story about father and daughter in 1990's Ireland,
This review is from: Father's Music (Paperback)
I read this book years ago, as a college student in Cork, Ireland. It follows a young urban woman in her search for her father, a traditional musician from rural Donegal who left when she was a baby. I loved it and still remember it almost 15 years later - I wish it and the author's other books could be more easily found in the U.S., but most have not been published here.I would recommend it to anyone interested in Ireland and/or the father daughter relationship. |
