I got this model shower faucet for our cottages where they get a lot of use by many people of all age groups. They have worked flawlessly for a couple of years. The best feature by far is the temperature adjustment lever that you simply set and forget. Every time you turn the shower on, the temperature is the same which is especially safe with kids and older adults.I did have a learning experience when installing it. I removed what I thought was a metal shipping bracket from the back of the shower assembly only to find the unit leaked water. The Delta service department must have heard of the problem before as they picked up on it immediately and had me reinstall the metal bracket. Everything worked fine after that!

Check out my review of the 1748-74, I put both of these in the same shower and am very happy with the results.
