Do not buy, you will regret it.

This shower head will reduce the water used, but it does NOT amplify the pressure.

This does not give any type of spray rather just a single stream.

I have been testing many low flow water amping heads under $25. This technology has the most pressure by far.
While I tested a PEERLESS one found at Wally world that and this one are made by Alsons and only different in the look of the abs chromed plastic.
The H2O Kinetics is the same in both.
This does use less water than a 2.5 and has a good force with a lower water pressure. My static pressure is 62 pis and this one put out more pressure than all others tested.
I used a psi gauge so know what I am talking about.
However I would say that I felt like the force was almost too much at first. A bit of a sting on my back (and i am male) but I feel that in a few days anyone would desensitize. The water is thrown back and forth in a wiggle and the drops are big. I did NOT have a misting effect over all and felt it was a strong shower.

The single large hole will be good to prevent clogging if you have hard water.
If it is two much force for you, then you can go with the Alsons version with 4 jets. (twice the price) It uses a little more water for some reason even though rated at 1.6 (one assumes 1.6 is 1.6) and since that one divides the force up that shower is strong but with 10 psi less than this one.

It will take a week to get used to the spray pattern but once you get past that it is not the traditional needle spray, you will enjoy that something can live up to its claim of using less water and still amplifying pressure, while still being able to give you a good hot shower.

In conclusion if you are looking to boost your pressure and like a massaging type of shower you can not go wrong with this for the money. You might want to pick up the one under the Peerless name locally and try it and if you like the cosmetic design of the delta, return the local one and get this one.

This is the second shower head I've gotten for my low pressure apt that I just moved into. The jet was uncomfortable and created such a mist that it was hard to get the soap off. It lasted one shower. It increases the pressure yes but, if you want a relaxing shower this is not the one I'd go for.

Yes, it does amplify the spray, but it is an unpleasant spray that is extremely harsh. The exterior is entirely plastic. It should be more like $5 than the ~$13 price tag. Stay away unless they are giving it away and you have skin as thick as a rhino!

For the money this is a good buy. I was not expecting too much from it, other than conserving water. However I was surprised that I still had a decent shower. The water basically comes out of one hole in a forceful mist. I do not feel disappointed with my purchase what so ever.

I have only found three popular low GPM showerheads - the Delta Water Amplifying, The Oxygenics, and the WaterPik EcoFlow. I have not tried the Ecoflo yet so I can only discuss the Delta vs the Oxygenics. Purchased this Delta showerhead after trying the Oxygenics low GPM showerhead.
This showerhead is not bad but has some drawbacks. Comparing this to the Oxygenics showerhead I would have to say overall I liked the Oxygenics a bit better. While the Delta head is much quieter than the Oxygenics (since the oxygenics uses air to create the feeling of pressure spray), the Oxygenics seems to produce more water. The Delta has a buzzing sound to it, which while subtle, somewhat bugs me. While both the Oxygenics and the Delta water drops sting a bit, the Delta droplets seem to sting a bit more (not sure why). The Delta showerhead seems to take longer to rinse off soap and shampoo thereby eliminating any low GPM savings with longer showers. The Delta is a bit more "drippy" water while on the body while the Oxygenics is more "misty". My wife complained about both being far too "misty" further away from the showerhead (shorer than me) and unsatisfying (even with the water savings). The Delta spray seems to be very wide near the bottom so when warming up the shower, I need to close the shower door or I have a water puddle on my floor. No real massage effect with either showerhead. So, all in all, not very satisfying and I will continue to look for better options. I have seen the larger (four hole) version of this showerhead (which got good reviews) but not sure if the buzzing or "misty" factors would be worse with the larger unit.

If you search the web, you can find video reviews of this Delta low flow showerhead. Seeing a video review is quite helpful. The consensus; it is a noisy and painful showerhead. If you have normal water pressure and you open the faucet the way you normally would, this showerhead will hurt your skin. Someone I know who tried this showerhead called it a mean angry thing.

I attached a $5 shut-off valve that I got at a big box hardware store to the showerhead so I could lower the pressure and it gives me a pleasing massaging shower at a substantial water savings. I also shut the valve to a trickle while I am lathering to save more water.

The water comes out of the single hole in an undulating fashion sending out some pretty big drops of water at high speed. The water flow is interrupted giving a massaging sensation. If you try it at high pressure, the massage turns into punishment accompanied by the angry drone the showerhead makes. Imagine a cone of water coming out of that single orifice. If you are looking for a standard spray shower pattern, this is the wrong showerhead for you. Consider the Evolve Roadrunner, which I have also tried. I also saw a video review for a Bricor showerhead (only available from the manufacturer) which looked quite interesting.
