The Monitor style of shower faucet has a Scald-Guard pressure balance valve which keeps the water within plus or minus 3 degrees F of the set temperature, even when the water is being used elsewhere in the house. Temperature only is controlled with the handle. Triple-plated chrome adds long-lasting finish. All Monitor valve bodies are precision-machined from solid brass bar stock for superior quality.
