Test your water with chlorine test strips to see that it doesn't work!,

Although the rain shower filter looks great, it does very little to remove chlorine. I bought a new filter and used EPA-certified free chlorine test strips (the kind used in commercial kitchens to meet health department codes) to test the amount of chlorine this filter removed. There was no difference between untreated tap water and supposed filtered water from this unit. Water from my Brita pitcher filter by comparison tested negative for chlorine. After doing more research online, I've found that many shower filters are ineffective despite claims, mainly because of water temperature and pressure that doesn't allow the water to slowly filter through the chamber like a water pitcher filter does. I'm still looking for a better filter(will check out Vitamin C shower filters next), but this product is really just an expensive and sharp looking shower head.

SOFT WATER,

I have had this product for 6 weeks and I love it. The water feels soft when it hits your body, it makes showering alot more enjoyable. When the water falls on you it's not spattering everywhere like tradition heads. I am buying another one for my guest bedroom.

Cheap, simple, and makes for a nice shower,

This is a great shower head, it looks nice, is reasonably adjustable and provides a good, comfortable shower pattern. The only downside is the filters tend to get clogged up somewhat quickly ... If you take long showers you may want to look elsewhere, but if you take quick showers it will not be a problem.

The filter filled up in less than a month, slowing water pressure to a trickle. Who wants to replace a semi-expensive filter EVERY month? I still use it as a showerhead without the filter, but it's not of the best construction that it would make the price worth it.

I ordered this after learning about how much of a toxic assault by the chemicals in our tap water when we shower. I am delighted with it (only had it for a week thus far). It was really easy to install. The water feels clean and the flow is really luxurious. I recommend it highly!
