I have had this recliner for a little over 3 months. It is very comfortable, even if you're not 6 feet tall, although the arms are a little low. Also it is squeaky, and spraying silicone at the joints I can see doesn't seem to fix it much. However, one of the laces just frayed through. They are supposed to last for 2 years, but this set didn't. I have just bought replacement laces, since they are specifically excluded from the warranty. But it seems to me that they should have lasted a lot longer than 3 months. The recliner hasn't been subject to any inappropriate use--only used by one person at a time (nowhere close to the weight limit!), no children jumping on it or anything.

It doesn't much matter that the laces weren't under warranty, since the warranty appears to require you to ship the whole recliner to an authorized dealer at your own expense to get warranty service. It's pretty unlikely I would have done that in any case.

All in all a nice recliner, but don't depend on it.

Update: A couple of months later, and the laces on that same side have broken again. In addition, there is stress in part of the fabric, and although I e-mailed the company (meaning the manufacturer, not Amazon), I got no response whatsoever. I would definitely recommend against this recliner. Recliner goes from three stars to one star.

I bought this chair for our tailgates this year and it is the most comfortable chair that I can imagine for such a purpose. I got the attachable tray with the chair and it works great for a day long fun time with my friends. Everyone wants to try it out and says that they love it, too. The only problem is that the mesh came undone at the foot after the first game and I had to tie it back.

My experience with Amazon over the past 10+ years has always been positive. I have never had to return an item and that includes the 2 Faulkner XL Recliners I recently purchased. The quality is outstanding and I can't say enough about the comfort. I suffer from fibromyalgia and these recliners make it easier for me to spend time outside. They are perfect for me. It's a bargain price and a beautiful addition my patio. I couldn't have made a better choice if I had purchased them in a local store.
